2009 Radical East Challenge Rules & Regulations:
Proposed schedule of 12 events at 4 venues.
TRACKS: Homestead Miami Speedway, Palm Beach International Raceway, Sebring International Raceway & Barber Motorsports Park
Each race event weekend will consist of:
Saturday – Radical Challenge Enduro Championship - 12 Races
30 minute practice
30 minute qualifying
60-min. (minimum) or 90 min. Enduro with 5-minute mandatory pit stop (solo or two drivers)
Sunday -
30 minute qualifying
30 minute Sprint Race #1
30 minute Sprint Race #2
CLASSES: There will be 4 classes competing for their own points and championship.
RS1 SR8 LM - Powertec 2.8 liter 460 bhp
RS2 SR8 Powertec 2.6 liter up to 380 bhp, SR3 Powertec Turbo, PR6 1500cc & up
RS3 SR3,Powertecup to 1585cc (non turbo), SR5 Powertec 2.0L Honda (all)
RS4 Prosport and all other models, PowertecSR3 up to 1300cc non turbo

If two drivers share a car in the enduro event they will only receive 50% of the points earned, and the drivers have to drive for a minimum of 30% of the total race time. Enduro Races The drivers best 8 finishes count. Sprint Races The drivers best 16 finishes count
